Kristen has more than 20 years of experience working towards the development of sustainable urban places, with a focus on affordable, multifamily housing. Her work is informed by the existing urban and ecological context, engagement with the extended community, and green design principles. Kristen’s knowledge of California development policy helps clients get the most out of every project. In her role as a project manager and architect, she has led several projects from concept through construction, bringing owners, partners, designers, contractors and agencies together with a spirit of collaboration. Recent multifamily projects include Sequoia Belle Haven in Menlo Park and Balboa Park Upper Yard in San Francisco, both of which she successfully steered through complex approvals with multiple agencies.
