This past weekend marked the birthday of our firm founder, Omer Mithun. A beloved professor at the University of Washington, he founded the practice in 1949 and grew the firm with award-winning work throughout the Pacific Northwest. His legacy continues today within Mithun’s mission, interdisciplinary practice, and commitment to education and environment. Happy Birthday, Omer!

The Louisiana Children’s Museum recently broke ground at their new site within New Orleans City Park. The eight-acre campus will feature extensive indoor and outdoor environmental elements as well as five new exhibit galleries, a literacy center, a parent/teacher resource center, museum store and café.
