We’ve had the pleasure to collaborate with diverse museums over the years on new facilities, renovations, exhibits and master planning to support their missions, collections and patrons. In honor of #InternationalMuseumDay, we offer a brief tour through some of these magical spaces. It’s a great reminder to explore your local museums: children’s, cultural, fine arts, natural history, science and more! 1. National Nordic Museum, photo by @brucedamonte 2. Do you miss outdoor music events as much as we do? We’re thrilled to see that the Ascend Amphitheater has a line-up of LIVE events starting tomorrow with the Nashville Ballet. Located at the foot of Nashville's famous country music promenade within a civic park along the Cumberland River, the outdoor event venue frames the city skyline and evokes the character of the city's 19th century limestone civic structures, cast iron bridges and ever-present musical heritage. The stage structure gestures towards the river, while a stone base defines and amplifies the natural materials used throughout the surrounding park. Designed by Mithun (as Hodgetts + Fung) in association with Smith Gee Studio, executive architect. LEED Gold certified. 📷: Rachel Paul
