Mass timber roof structures and green roofs at the Princeton Lake Campus Graduate Student Housing bring sustainable performance and biophilic benefits into the daily experience of students and faculty. With a high-performance envelope and building systems, the design is on track to become one of the largest Passive House certified projects in the country. Sustainability synergies unite the Lake Campus development, from rain gardens and green infrastructure to geothermal exchange wells, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, carbon sequestration and low-embodied-carbon materials.
