Erin Christensen Ishizaki is a national leader in the integration of public health and design, having pioneered the use of health impact assessments, and is an expert in EcoDistrict planning and environmental metrics. An urban designer and architect at Mithun since 2007, Erin has led transformational planning projects including the Mariposa Redevelopment Master Plan and Healthy Living Initiative for Denver Housing Authority, and Keahuolū Land Planning for the Queen Lili`ukolani Trust.
Erin currently serves on the Congress for New Urbanism Board of Directors, and is a frequent speaker on equitable development, design for health, and sustainable district development. In 2014, Erin was globally recognized as an Urban Land Institute 40 under 40 professional.
