What an inspiring community! Sharing some moments from our amazing time at #WeCare2018 working with local youth to create handmade gifts for their family and friends. The best part? Hearing the excitement and pride of these artists about their gifts: “This is the first year I’ve given someone a present.” / “This hopefully will help my dad. A friend of his died and he can’t get over it.” / “One of my family traditions is my uncle always brings us eggnog. This year I’m going to hand him this present and he’s going to say, ‘Kash, you got me a present?!’” Thanks for leading the day, @hermanmiller. We can’t wait until next year!

We had a great time this week participating in the #WeCare2018 holiday event, which helps kids at the Rotary Boys & Girls Club create holiday presents for their loved ones. Our team assembled dozens of canvases and stencils, ready for the creative vision of the artists, aged 5-13. Next up, highlights from the big event!

We’re currently working with Mission Housing and Related California on an affordable housing development next to the Balboa Park BART station in San Francisco’s Mission District. Balboa Park Upper Yard incorporates up to 120 units of low- and very-low-income housing and ground-floor community-serving space, as well as open space on a connected property owned by BART.
