A restrained material palette reflects the landscape of sagebrush and diverse species of native plants still gathered by the Wanapum today. Thank you to everyone that visited our parklet, added a few brush strokes and contributed to the community spirit! Together, we won the 2018 Park(ing) Day Collective Effervescence Award for producing a “magical experience… that happens when we are part of something bigger than ourselves.” It was an honor to paint beside you, hear your stories and connect here on the waterfront.
