Happy #PrideMonth! Join us in celebrating our LGBTQIA+ communities, and standing in solidarity with our colleagues, friends and partners against discrimination and for justice all year long. Pride Month commemorates the anniversary of the June 1969 Stonewall Uprising, which sparked the modern LGBTQIA+ movement. Led by Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera, two transgender women of color, Stonewall sparked a revolution that has paved a way toward equity for all LGBTQIA+ folks. For information about 2021 events and ways to get involved, check out lapride.org, sfpride.org and seattlepride.org, or your local community organizations. Image by our own Robinick Fernandez.
