Poised at the intersection of two famous boulevards, this commercial development extends along an east-west axis, withdrawing on the street-level at an angle to define a public plaza beneath a creative billboard integrated into the building façade. On the upper levels, elevated terraces provide full-service dining and green space with commanding hillside views of greater Los Angeles.

Architectural Canvas

The building exterior features simple yet sophisticated finishes that accentuate the perception of a large levitated mass. The primary building components will be cast in a refined white concrete mix to produce a striking façade that is both durable and environmentally friendly in its production and use.

Marking its Place

The design brings a much-needed gravity to the disarray of the Sunset Strip while fulfilling the city’s newly created mandate to incorporate digital media in select locations. Sustainable strategies include extensive green roof terraces, passive ventilation, permeable paving and drought-tolerant plantings.
