We are pleased to announce the promotion of new Principals, an Associate Principal, Senior Associates and Associates in our Seattle and San Francisco offices.
Mithun has promoted Lynn McBride, Daniel Swaab and Malcolm Harris to Principal. In her 20 years at Mithun’s Seattle office, Lynn McBride has managed the design of national complex projects including Mesa Nueva Graduate and Professional Student Housing at the University of California, San Diego; Navos Behavioral Healthcare Center for Children, Youth and Families in Burien, Washington; and Coeur d’Alene Tribe Resort Expansion in Worley, Idaho. Lynn is a leader within Mithun’s human resources team, and was instrumental in developing Mithun’s continuing education program and AIA 2030 Commitment efforts.
Based in Seattle, Dan Swaab is a senior project architect with more than 20 years of experience with public and private projects including Heartline (Block 136) and Press Blocks in Portland, Oregon; Seattle Fire Station 9; and University of Washington’s Maple and Terry Halls. A champion of Mithun’s firm culture and spirit, Dan coordinates numerous office activities and has been a long-time volunteer with the ACE Mentor Program.
A senior project manager and architect in Mithun’s San Francisco office, Malcolm Harris has led the design and construction administration of high density, multi-family housing projects in California including 1180 Fourth Street, 626 Mission Bay Boulevard and 1036 Mission Street Housing in San Francisco. Malcom is a trusted mentor and technical resource for project teams throughout the office.
Mithun has promoted Erik Hagen to Associate Principal. Based in Los Angeles, Erik serves as an architect and project manager on higher education, multi-family, workplace and retail projects. His recent work includes Mesa Court Towers, a residential community for freshmen at the University of California, Irvine; as well as Mesa Nueva Graduate and Professional Student Housing at the University of California, San Diego.
Allison Orr, Amy Lindemuth, Andrew Diehl, Jason King, Josh Distler, Katharine Favret, Marna Abrams, Matthew Dunbar and Reid Caudill have been named Senior Associates.
Allison Hefely, Amanda Bryan, Charles McDowell, Chelsey Morar, Emily Hagen, Gregory Catron, Jessica Araujo, Martha Cox, Rosalie Daggett and Seamus Kelly are now Associates.
